Превеза
Превеза - это один из живописнейших номов Эпира..Это место имеет значительную историю, которая начинается в глубокой древности (руины древнего города Никополь лежат в 7 км к северу от города ) и продолжается до наших дней. Сегодня Превеза- это коммерческий порт с пристанью для яхт и туристический центр с четырьмя музеями, двумя кинотеатрами, театром под открытым небом, мюзик-холлом и огромным количеством клубов и таверн всех типов. Также рядом находится остров Лефкада, главный туристический центр. Оба этих места находятся в непосредственной близости от Aktion National Airport . Подземный тоннель Актио-Превеза, аналог тоннеля под Ламаншем, открытый в 2002 году, крайне удобный элемент инфраструктуры, позволяющий значительно сократить время при путешествии на Лефкаду. Красивые причудливые дома с черепичными крышами и мощеными улицами -вот отличительная черта Превезы. Особой любовью также пользуется замечательный променад, с которого можно любоваться на яхты в Ионическом море.

Preveza
It is one of the most picturesque cities of Epirus, the capital of the prefecture of Preveza. It has a significant history, which begins in antiquity (the ruins of the ancient Nicopolis lie 7 kilometers north of the city) and continues till nowadays. Today Preveza is a commercial harbour and tourist hub, with a marina, four museums, two cinemas, an open theatre, a music Hall, many clubs, taverns and cafes, benefiting from its proximity to the Aktion National Airport and the island of Lefkada, which is a major tourist destination. The Aktio-Preveza Immersed Tunnel, launched on 2002, is an important work of infrastructure for what has traditionally been a remote and underdeveloped region, and links Preveza to Actium on the southern shore of the Amvracian Gulf, greatly shortening the distance of the trip to Lefkada. The beautiful quaint houses with the tiled roofs and the cobbled streets, ideal for walks during the shopping in the local stores, will earn your attention. What you will love though is the lovely promenade with the palm trees, which passes in front of the marina. Washed by the Ionian Sea, Preveza is also known for its amazing beaches.
