Пляжи Вулиагмени

Тут все серьезно, по-взрослому. Многим пляжам Вулиагмени был присвоен “голубой флаг”. Это не то о чем вы подумали - геев здесь не больше и не меньше чем где-либо еще. “Голубой флаг” - это своего рода знак качества для пляжей. Его наличие говорит о благоприятной экологической обстановке и высоком уровне комфорта: много деревьев, мелкий чистый песок, например. Во время олимпиады 2004 года тут проводились соревнования по триатлону. Есть несколько пляжей: общественные и частные. Не ближний свет - 20 километров от центра Афин. Добраться можно на автобусе и на такси. А ехать придется по проспекту Посейдона - разве не романтика?

Among the many beaches you can find in Attica, Vouliagmeni holds a prominent position.This beautiful seaside suburb is located 25 km south of Athens city center and is washed by the Saronic Gulf. The beaches of the area are consistently awarded with the coveted EU blue flags for their environmental excellence, which highlights Vouliagmeni as one of the most touristic places of Attika. Let alone that the triathlon competition for the 2004 Summer Olympics took place in this area. Some of the beaches are public and you can enjoy the sea and the sun for free, and others are private and well organized, like the Akti Vouliagmenis. This popular beach, just a few meters away from the Poseidon avenue after Kavouri, despite its cosmopolitan character, retains something of the countryside air of the past, with lots of trees and fine sands. The access in Vouliagmeni beaches is easy with the frequent buses routes that serve the area (bus lines 114, 115, 170), taxi and of course by rented or private car and motorbikes.
