Ханья
Деревня под названием Ханья, что в переводе с греческого означает “гостиницы”, находится совсем неподалеку от горнолыжного курорта Пелион на высоте 1200 метров над уровнем моря. Название говорит само за себя. Практически все постройки тут - гостиницы. Место, в отличии от остальных деревень Пелиона, например Макреницы, не аутентичное. Главное достоинство его - близость к горнолыжному курорту у горы Агрилефкес. Впрочем, этот факт отнюдь не отменяет таверн и магазинов с сувенирами. Равно как и потрясающих видов.

- на машине из Афин через Волос (350 км) по трассе E75
- на машине из Салоников (234 км) по трассе Α1, E75
- на машине из Волоса (25 км) по трассе Портарья-Загора
- на автобусе из Волоса, Автовокзал в Волосе: тел. +30 24210-33253 / 33254/25527, ул. Секери
- на автобусе из Афин до Волоса от станции Лиссион
- на поезде следующем из Афин (станция Ларисис) до Салоников до Волоса

Chania
Just a breath away from the Ski Center of Pelion, Chania is an ideal winter destination, primed by the natural beauty of the landscape around it. It is located at an altitude of 1200 m., just 27 km from Volos and 13 km from Pelion. It was never really a village, just an area with a few inns, where the passengers could spend the night, making a break from their trip. That is why it was named Chania (Χάνια), which in Greek means “inns”. The strategic position of the place though and the proximity with the Agrioleykes mountain, where the Ski Center was constructed, highlighted Chania in a top winter resort. Today, plenty of hotels and rooms to let are scattered in the area, built with respect to the local architecture and the natural environment. You will also find here many restaurants and taverns serving local specialties, and picturesque shops to buy souvenirs and local sweets.
How to get there: By car from Athens (distance 350 km) via E75. From Thessaloniki (distance 234 km) via Α1 and E75. From Volos (distance 25,1 km) via National Road Portaria-Zagora. By bus: Regular daily routes from and to Volos. Volos bus station (west entrance of Volos, 1 kilometer from the city center, in the intersection of provincial roads Athens and Larissa connecting Volos with Pathe), tel.: +30 24210-33253/33254/25527.
