Антипарос
Остров Антипарос - это небольшой симпатичный островок в Кикладском архипелаге. Расположен он напротив своего старшего брата” острова Парос. Поэтому он и получил такое название. В одноименной столице острова можно посетить массивную венецианскую крепость Кастро, построенную в 1440 году и Храм Иоанна Пещерника (Агиос Иоаннис Спилиотис). Этот храм расположен на высоком холме у входа в сталактитовую пещеру глубиной 90 метров. Здесь находятся старейшие сталактитовые и сталагмитовые образования во всей Европе. Также стоит посетить местный археологический музей, где представлены артефакты из найденных здесь (в том числе и в пещере) захоронений.
Не меньше привлекают туристов традиционные деревни Антипароса. Это традиционные побеленные домики, окруженные деревьями и цветами, узкие улочки, где на каждом шагу можно найти кафе или таверну. В таверне стоит отведать блюда местной кухни из осминогов и рыбы, а также местные сыры.
И конечно же люди сюда пребывают ради золотых пляжей, протянувшихся на многие километры вокруг острова. Тут можно найти как и тихое уединенное местечко, так и организованные пляжи с лежаками и барами. Среди последних стоит выделить Псараликис, Панагия, Сан-Сет и Агиос Спиридонас.
Также на острове можно заниматься активными видами спорта, например кейтсерфингом. Еще одна особенность Антипароса - это огромное количесто необитаемых островков с не менее красивыми пляжами. Туда можно легко добраться на лодке.

Antiparos
One of the cutest small islands of Cyclades, Antiparos is the little sibling of Paros. It is ideal for both a daily trip if you stay in Paros or for longer vacation. The beaches of the island are simply amazing, whether you prefer sand or rocks. Actually, you can find both options, as from the one side Antiparos offers golden sands with calm water, while from the other side, it flirts with your adventurous spirit, suggesting vertical cliffs with caves carved from the open sea and the winds. Psaralikes, Panagia, Sun Set Beach and Agios Spyridonas, to name a few, are among the beaches you are gonna love once you visit them. Antiparos though is not only about the beaches. The most significant sight of the place is the famous Cave, located at the eastern side of the island, which combines the singular natural architecture with the unique stalagmites. The Cave was known from the time of antiquity, and important findings, as ancient vases, have been revealed in its inside, while one of the great ancient lyric poets, the Archilogos of Paros, dedicated an inscription to the goddess Artemis, whose elements are preserved until today. The road to the Cave is accessible by car or by bus. Before entering, do not miss to visit the picturesque church of St. John the Spilioti,which is outside, and of course to enjoy the breathtaking view. In the beautiful traditional village of Antiparos, with the cobbled streets and the dozens of shops where you can buy souvenirs, you can also visit the imposing Venetian Castle, which is one of the most significant buildings of Cyclades and was built in 1440. Just before the entrance of the castle, there is the Metropolis of Antiparos, the temple of Saint Nickolas. As for the entertainment part, the heart of the village beats in the square, which is not exactly a typical square.. Let’s just say that it is a place in the middle of the village, surrounded by bars which play loud music (mainly rock) until the wee hours. Oh, and the dress code here is very simple. You can wear your swimsuit from the morning till the night. You are on vacation after all.
How to get there: You can reach Antiparos only from Paros. By boat from the port of Parikia or by ferry boat from the port of Punta. The routes are daily and very often.
